Chamber Announces 2010 Small Business Awards Finalists

The Chamber of Commerce of Southwest Indiana is pleased to announce the 20 finalists for the 2010 Chamber Small Business Awards. 

The Chamber Small Business Awards Brunch will be hosted on Thursday, March 11 at The Centre at a brunch. Randy Moore, Fox7 News Anchor, will emcee the ceremony that will be held on Thursday, March 11 at 10:00 a.m. at The Centre in Downtown Evansville.

The Chamber Small Business Awards celebrate small businesses and the contributions they make to our communities and economy. There were over 85 nominations this year and a committee of independent judges narrowed the field to five nominees per category.  The finalists from each category will be recognized at The Small Business Awards ceremony and a recipient will be named.   

The finalists for the 2010 Give Back Award are as follows:

Regency Properties – Jim McKinney
Tracy Zeller Jewelry – Tracy Zeller  

The finalists for the 2010 Entrepreneur of the Year Award are as follows:
Tom Ashby – American Legacy Fishing Company, LLC
Keith Barnett – Information Technology Architects, Inc.
Jaye Moseley – Excursions of Evansville
Doug and Marla Rennie – Just Rennie’s, LLC
Tom and Lisa Slade – Alphagraphics  

The finalists for the 2010 Non-Profit of the Year Award are as follows:
American Red Cross – Matt Bertram
Community Marriage Builders – John Phillips
Habitat for Humanity of Evansville – Lori Reed
Tri-State Food Bank – Mary E. Blair
Wesselman Nature Society – Kim Meadors  

The finalists for the 2010 Small Business of the Year Award are as follows:

Evansville Garage Doors, Inc. – Bob Rothschild
Hayes, Powers & Associates of Ameriprise Financial – Thomas Walker II Information Technology Architects, Inc. – Keith Barnett
