The Chamber is Accepting Nominations for the Small Business Awards!  

The 3nd annual Chamber Small Business Awards will take place on Thursday, March 10 at The Centre.  The awards will be announced at the Kickoff Brunch for the 2011 Tri-State Business EXPO.   Nominate a friend, colleague or client's business! Or even nominate your OWN business!  The deadline to nominate is FRIDAY, January 28, 2011!  

It takes just minutes and ALL Chamber member small businesses with under 25 employees are eligible! The Chamber Small Business Awards celebrate small businesses and the contributions they make to our communities and economy.  

Awards will be given in the following four categories: 

The Give Back Award
2010 Recipient:  Just Rennie’s, LLC
2009 Recipient:  Firefly Southern Grill    

The Entrepreneur of the Year Award
2010 Recipient:  Tom and Lisa Slade, AlphaGraphics
2009 Recipient:  Tracy Zeller, Tracy Zeller Jewelry  

Non-Profit Business of the Year Award
2010 Recipient:  Tri-State Food Bank
2009 Recipient:  WNIN - Channel 9 & FM88.3 Radio       

The Small Business of the Year Award
2010 Recipient:  Information Technology Architects
2009 Recipient:  Woodward Commercial Realty  

These awards are given to the business, including all of the employees, not just the owners. We recognize the owner(s) have the vision and take the risk, but is the teamwork of all the employees that makes a successful company.   

Award-winning companies will be honored at a brunch attended by an average of over 500 people. The brunch not only serves as an opportunity to shine the spotlight on a Chamber member company who is excelling, but it is also the kickoff brunch for the Tri-State Business EXPO. Each winning company will receive a beautiful, engraved glass award that they can proudly display at its office.

Tickets for The Chamber’s Small Business Awards Brunch are just $15 per person or $140 per corporate table of 10.  Please join The Chamber of Commerce of Southwest Indiana as we celebrate the Tri-State’s small business professionals.
