Doug Petitt, Vectren Corporation 

Doug Petitt was named VP, Marketing and Conservation for Evansville, IN based Vectren Corporation in February, 2008.  Prior to this position, Petitt served as the VP, Government Affairs. Before that, he served as president of Vectren’s regulated natural gas utility in Ohio.  He has accumulated over 20 years of experience in the industry, starting at Dayton Power & Light where he served in a number of positions.  

He is responsible for managing the relationships with customers and the associated programs, including efforts to assist customers in using energy more efficiently. Additional responsibilities include economic development, market research, revenue management and customer education.   

Petitt received a B.S. from the University of Louisville and an MBA from the University of Dayton. He serves on the boards of the Evansville African American Museum and the United Way of Southwestern Indiana and the Leadership Group of the National Action Plan for Energy Efficiency.
